ThinkNet is currently looking for an
energetic and dedicated individual to join
our innovative team as a Technical
Educator/Trainer. The individual for this
position will be responsible for providing
product line training and managing the
learning experience for clients, assisting
in gathering new innovative training
techniques, communicating between the
various training personnel departments and
Senior Management, monitor client
performance and provide feedback and
development ideologies, as well as updating
and maintaining technical training program
materials.
Note: this role is primarily delivery in
nature i.e. the facilitation of learning
events using e-Classroom technology, with
the potential for some update in design and
development.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Provide training and support to clients
with varying levels of technical skills,
ranging from novice to intermediate, through
in-class presentations and public speaking
and interactive direction.
• Work with Senior Management team and
design specialists to research, gather,
compile, update and develop content learning
modules when required.
• Use feedback provided by the participating
clients to propose improvements in the
delivery and facilitation to the Senior
Manager and associate team members.
• Deliver high quality customer satisfaction
and service to all participating clients.
Required Skills
and Experience include:
• Minimum 2yrs training and public speaking
experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication
skills, including presentation and teaching
skills.
• Experience in: Windows 2000/2003,
Microsoft .NET, Visual Studio (VB.NET,
ASP.NET, C#), SQL Server (2000/2005),
Analysis Server 2005, SharePoint, Web Parts,
and Reporting Server 2005.
• Ability to apply logic, rationale, and
common sense in making decisions.
• Working knowledge of Windows, Office suite
(Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), and
preference for knowledge of calendar &
scheduling.
• Ability to prepare comprehensive and
engaging documentation, reference guides,
hints & tips, processes and procedures
targeted at different audiences.
• Capacity to build and maintain
relationships with internal and external
clients.
• Ability to work efficiently, delivering
high quality performance, and meet strict
deadlines.
• Mature with excellent written and verbal
communication skills
• Must be Results oriented, have a positive
attitude, be self-motivated, and a team
player,
• Strong communicator with the ability to
clearly articulate technology and business
advantages of solutions, services and
processes to a variety of target audiences
• Proven facilitation and instructional
skills
• Strong customer-service orientation
• Exposure to IT systems and processes
