Intermediate/Senior software developer
Description:
We are looking for Software
Developers to join our growing development
team. A minimum of 2 years experience with
.NET programming is required. Candidates
should have very strong application
development experience and broad exposure to
web application technologies (ASP.NET). In
addition, academic exposure to object
oriented technologies is required and
practical experience implementing object
oriented systems would be an asset. Working
with SharePoint portal and .NET technology
on a day-to-day basis, you will also apply
your top quality design and programming
skills to web application and server side
control development.
We have challenging work using the latest
development tools. You can participate in
all phases of the software development
cycle. Our current development environments
include:
•
Windows 2000&2003, Microsoft
.NET, Visual Studio (VB.NET, ASP.NET, C#),
SQL Server, Analysis Server, Sharepoint, Web
Parts, Report Server.
Key Responsibilities include:
•
Provide technical expertise during
all phases of software development
•
Take ownership of new and
pre-existing development priorities
•
Participate in design sessions and
code reviews
•
Perform developer testing and
documentation
•
Communicate well with customers, team
leaders, management and peers
•
Assist Team Leader in distilling
customer needs into technical requirements
Required
Skills and Experience include:
•
3 to
5 years development business experience
•
Required experience:
databases and
web-related technology using Microsoft .NET (VB.NET,
C#, ASP.NET), SQL Server
•
Desired experience:
SharePoint, Web Parts,
Report Server, Analysis Server
•
Strong technical and analytical
abilities with proactive problem solving skills
•
Ability to plan and organize in
complex and fast paced environments
•
Results oriented, resourceful, team
player, with a mature and positive attitude
•
Must possess sound judgment, and be
self motivated
•
Excellent written and verbal
communication skills
•
Must
be available for travel to client sites in the
Greater Toronto Area
Education
•
Bachelor degree in
Computer Engineer, Computer Science or related field
